Crafted by the disabled

The vast majority of items sold in the Lonely Tree Store are crafted by physically disabled people (mostly victims of land mine accidents anAd poliomyelitis) from the programs we support around Cambodia.

 

 

Traditional Khmer handicrafts

Handicrafts include summer shirts and trousers, typical Khmer “Kromas”, a variety of purses, wallets, accessory bags, and hand-carved wood amongst other items. We care about conserving Cambodian cultural heritage, and thus our handicrafts are made in the traditional manner by people whose skills have been passed on through generations.
